The Pilgrim's Progess
Life is a challenging but rewarding journey filled with unexpected people and circumstances. Trials will come and burdens will be on our shoulders. Exhausted, we make way through deserts and gather all our strength to climb our mount Everest. Trudging along the seemingly endless path, we hope to find tranquility, joy and success by taking the right path. Some of us are well-equipped while others are free wanders. Well-prepared travelers rely on maps to navigate and guide them to their destination while the rest take short cuts, ending up in futile lands marked by barrenness. On the way, however, we meet Mr. Formalist and Mr. Hypocrisy who walk in the opposite direction and convince us to go with them. If we lose focus, we will end up in the City of Destruction instead of the Celestial City. The route to the latter city is a difficult but worthy one, because in the end, we end up in God's kingdom in which ever-lasting life lies.
